Biography
Anna Michele Whitson (b. 1992) is originally from Long Island, New York, and grew up in North Georgia. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts from The University of North Georgia in 2016. In 2015 Anna studied abroad in Dublin, Ireland, and Edinburgh, Scotland. It was in Florence, Italy and Rome where she developed a love for the timelessness of the Old Masters. Anna now seeks to recreate that inspiration in her own work. She has studied painting with Johanna Harmon at The Scottsdale Artists' School and figure drawing at Townsend Atelier. She has exhibited at Buckhead Art & Company in Atlanta, Georgia from 2019 to present. She most recently exhibited at the National Sculpture Society’s 89th Annual Show.
